What’s a comforter used for and when should I introduce one?
Comforters not only help provide comfort to your baby (as the name suggests!), but they also act as a helpful cue for them to settle down ready for sleep. When introduced at bed and naptime, comforters are a useful addition to your baby’s bedtime routine, making sleep predictable and expected.
Sleepthru Comforter has been given a ‘suitable from birth’ rating during safety testing, however we recommend waiting until your baby is around six months old before introducing it. This is usually around the time parents think about moving their baby into their own room, where a little extra settling and reassurance may be required.

How to Use Your Sleepthru Comforter for Better Sleep
I know this will sound gross but hear me out!
Before introducing your comforter, get a little sweaty and rub it against your skin or sleep with it nearby so the soft muslin absorbs your scent and lovely calming pheromones. Your scent is incredibly calming and reassuring to your baby, helping them feel safe, secure and comforted.
Then use the comforter consistently at bedtime and nap times so it becomes a familiar sleep cue that encourages more independent settling for a better night’s sleep.
