Comforters not only help provide comfort to your baby (as the name suggests!), but they also act as a helpful cue for them to settle down ready for sleep. When introduced at bed and naptime, comforters are a useful addition to your baby’s bedtime routine, making sleep predictable and expected.

Sleepthru Comforter has been given a ‘suitable from birth’ rating during safety testing, however we recommend waiting until your baby is around six months old before introducing it. This is usually around the time parents think about moving their baby into their own room, where a little extra settling and reassurance may be required. 

As your baby tosses and turns, even safely positioned muslins and tucked in blankets can move and end up dangerously covering their face, posing a risk of suffocation or overheating. Soft toys, while cozy and appealing, are often made of fur and feature buttons, tags or attachments which all present a choking hazard if chewed or sucked.
